My basement flooded after a heavy rain. I called Atlantis Restorations after hours and got in touch with the person who was on-call. They told me they could be out ASAP in the morning. They came to my home, removed the standing water, cut out the affected carpet, padding, drywall and baseboards, set up a dehumidifier and several carpet blower fans. Those ran for a few days and when they came back to retrieve the equipment, everything was dry. Now I am looking at basement waterproofing solutions to prevent this problem in the future.
